Technology
KraulQuappen® swimming floats were designed by Reiner Cherek, who ran a swimming and water rehabilitation school in Frankfurt for over 40 years. Based on his knowledge of child development and hundreds of physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions, he developed a prototype of swimming floats that keep the head above water while allowing unrestricted movement.
Since 1999, Cherek’s swim-floaties have been produced in Poland by WATS. Our specialists, in collaboration with swimming schools, further improved the original design. The swim-floaties have become even safer, more comfortable, and durable.
The design created by KraulQuappen® ensures that the swim-floaties will keep a person above water, even if the outer layer is punctured.
KraulQuappen® Swim-Floaties – Proven Safety
Precise Production
Our swim-floaties are not mass-produced in China. Every component is crafted with precision, and many processes are done manually. At every stage of production, the swim-floaties undergo rigorous quality control. Additionally, 100% of the materials used to make the floaties are recyclable.
Leakage Testing
Each swim-floatie undergoes a leakage test that lasts a minimum of 2 hours. We check the tightness of the outer coating and valve. Only after passing the test does the swim-floatie receive its unique serial number, confirming that it meets KraulQuappen® quality standards.
Annual TÜV Certification
Each year, KraulQuappen® undergoes thorough certification by the renowned TÜV institution, which verifies compliance with strict technical and safety standards. Our swim-floaties also meet the ISO 9001 standard for personal protective equipment.
